Abstracts for the AIxMAT 2026 conference can be submitted until September 9, 2026. This is an opportunity to present research findings and exchange knowledge and experience with members of the international scientific community working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and materials engineering.
The Materials Engineering discipline at the Warsaw University of Technology received an A+ scientific category in the latest stage of Poland's national research quality evaluation. The results were announced by the Minister of Science and Higher Education on 22 July 2026.
On 6 July 2026, the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering hosted the inauguration of the on-site part of the Reimagining Waste: Ethical and Sustainable Solutions in Waste Management Summer School (Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme), organised by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology and the Universitat Politècnica de València within the ENHANCE Alliance. The Summer School brings together 21 students from seven ENHANCE partner universities.
