During the 4th edition of the National Materials Engineering Day (ODIM 2026), participants across Poland will attempt to set a new Polish Record in the category „The largest number of origami rockets folded within four hours”.
Researchers from the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology will take part in the international research project ANIMATE – Additive maNufacturing Innovative MATerials for Energy applications, carried out within the CONNECT-NM framework – a new European Union funding mechanism for research projects.
Daria Pałgan, MSc, received the Best Paper Award at the sixth Nano-Joining & Micro-Joining International Conference, which took place between November 17 and November 21, 2025, in Yeongju, Korea. Daria’s presentation was titled: “Cu-Mo nanocomposites as an interlayer for joining in thermal management systems”.
