The list is prepared by Stanford University in cooperation with the Elsevier Publishing House.
TOP 2% Scientists 2021 consists of two separate lists. The first evaluates the scientific achievements made in a research career (using data collected since 1960); the second only considers publications and citations from the most recent calendar year.
