The Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology has once again been chosen the best faculty in Poland which provides the field of study Materials Engineering, according to the 2019 Ranking of Engineering Studies of the Perspektywy monthly.
The results of the Ranking were published on 12 June 2019. Depending on the specificity of a field of study, the Ranking of Engineering Studies comprises 14-16 indices grouped in six criteria. There are also various weightings of the criteria, depending on the specificity of the field of study. These include: Prestige, Graduates on the Job Market, Academic Potential, Teaching Potential, Research Efficiency, Internationalisation, Innovativeness.

On the same day, the results of the 2019 Ranking of HEIs were announced. In the ranking, the Warsaw University of Technology took the third place for the third successive time. For the 14th successive time, WUT was ranked as the best technical university in Poland.
